Tangram Towns is our response to the ever-rising housing crisis in Wellington. Using origami houses as commentary, we draw attention to the trend of small, hastily constructed homes to produce accommodation within a short time and budget. Using the themes of utopian Americana, we delved into the irony of substandard housing amidst pursuing an idealized living space. Our parody video depicts the stark reality of the housing situation, inviting viewers to reflect.
